Giants Home Opener 2011

Steve won the lotto to purchase tickets to the Giants home opener against the Cardinals. We decided against selling the tickets and making a profit, we wanted to go support our World Champion Giants! We had such a great time. We arrived two hours before the game started for the pre-game festivities, and then the game went 12 innings. It was a loooong day! But so fun. Especially since the Giants won. And it was Jill's first real game. She's quite the little Giants fan, she gots lots of attention. And was such a good sport. She watched the game, then napped, then watched the game a little more, then napped . . . she was ready to go by the 12th inning though. Or maybe the 10th, but she held on so we could see our Giants win!

You can see the Bay Bridge in the distance. AT&T park has the most incredible view. It's totally worth dealing with the wintertime weather in summer to be on the bay! It was semi-warm in the sun for the first hour or two, then it was FREEZING as usual. Who ever heard of bundling up for summer baseball games?! Giants fans, that's who.
Sleeping baby. Look at the packed stadium!
