I crawl, and I climb!

Jill is officially crawling. And not just army crawling, she's been doing that for weeks. She is up on her hands and knees now and also climbs on everything. The stairs, her toys, the bumbo, the dog . . . whatever is in her way, she just climbs right up and over it.

Swimming

Jill loves the water! And I am determined she will take after me and FLOAT, unlike her dad and his side of the family. They swear they all sink in water and can't float. So this is our first attempt at getting little Jill to learn to not only swim, but FLOAT.

7 Months

Newest things this month:

Jill is army crawling everywhere! And especially fast when the dog pulls out one of his squeaky toys. She loves his toys. And Blackjack knows it!

We have found some foods so far that Jill is not fond of. I've tried butternut squash like 10 times now and every time she makes faces and gags. Strange, because she loves regular squash and winter squash. Corn isn't going so well either. Perhaps it's the color yellow?

Jill can push herself up on her hands and knees now and rock back and forth. And she just learned to push herself into a sitting position from her belly. So we find her in the crib in the morning sitting up playing, too cute.

Teasing the dog. Notice Blackjack's tongue, Steve is bribing him with treats!

Look, I'm standing!

What a cheeseball.

Playing nicely together.

Getting into mischief.

Climbing.

When I go over to the computer on my desk, Jill books it across the room and slides between the chair and the desk so she can do this:

But then she gets bored and decides to go for the cords.

At a friend's 1st birthday party.

The 4 hour party was just too much for her. She crashed on Dad's shoulder.
